Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Transcriptionist Editor.

Key responsibilities:

• Create accurate written versions of audio and video recordings
• Review and edit transcriptions done by speech recognition software
• Keep sensitive information confidential and adhere to all confidential guidelines

Required qualifications:

• College or university degree or court reporting/transcription certification
• 2 years' experience in legal word processing or legal field
• Proficiency in MS Office, Express Scribe, Google Suite, and other transcription software, Typing speed 70 wpm
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven with the ability to prioritize various requests and deadlines simultaneously
• Familiarity with legal terminology, legal system, and general court procedures
