Legal Translator and Editor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Slavic Languages - Legal Translator, Editor, and Transcriber.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate, edit, and transcribe legal documents and audio files between English and the foreign language
• Edit transcriptions and legal documents while ensuring the use of appropriate legal terminology
• Review and certify the quality of other translators' work as needed

Required Qualifications

• Willingness to undergo a U.S. government background check for Public Trust Clearance Moderate Level
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in legal translation and/or editing
• At least 3 years of experience in audio transcription
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CAT tools like SDL Trados
