Legal Translator and Editor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bengali to/from English - Legal Translator, Editor and Transcriber.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate, edit, and transcribe legal documents and audio files between Bengali and English
• Edit audio transcriptions and legal documents while ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal terminology
• Review and certify the quality of other translators' work as needed

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizen willing to undergo a government background check for Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in translation and editing between English and Bengali
• At least 3 years of experience in audio transcription with relevant software proficiency
• Familiarity with legal terminology in both English and Bengali
