Legal Translator and Editor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Punjabi to/from English - Legal Translator, Editor, and/or Transcriber (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate translation, editing, and transcription of legal documents and audio files
• Edit legal documents and audio transcriptions, ensuring proper use of legal terminology
• Review and certify the quality of other translators' work as needed

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and willingness to undergo a government background check
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in legal documentation and translation or editing
• At least 3 years of experience in audio transcription with relevant software skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CAT tools, such as Trados
