Legal Translator and Editor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an English to Spanish - Legal (Judiciary) Translator, Editor, and/or Transcriber - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate translation, editing, and transcription of legal documents and audio files from English to Spanish
• Edit legal documents and audio transcriptions while demonstrating a strong command of legal terminology
• Review and certify the quality of other translators' work as needed

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with the ability to undergo a government background check for Public Trust Clearance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in legal documentation, translating, and/or editing between English and a foreign language
• At least 3 years of experience in audio transcription with relevant software proficiency
• Familiarity with legal terminology in both English and the target foreign language(s)
