Legal Translator and Editor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an English to Brazilian Portuguese - Legal (Judiciary) Translator and/or Editor.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal translation and editing services for a U.S. Government client
• Ensure accurate use of legal and technical terminology in translations
• Utilize CAT tools for translation and editing tasks

Required Qualifications

• Three years of experience in providing legal language services to governmental clients
• Bachelor's degree in a foreign language, linguistics, or a comparable field
• Extensive experience in legal language services
• Proficiency in using CAT tools, with preference for Trados experience
• U.S. citizenship and willingness to undergo security clearance processing
