Legal Translator and Editor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an English to Hungarian - Translator / Editor - Legal.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate, edit, and/or transcribe legal documents and audio files from English to Hungarian
• Edit legal documents and audio transcriptions, ensuring the use of appropriate legal terminology
• Review and certify the quality of other translators' work as needed

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and willingness to undergo a government background check for Public Trust Clearance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in legal documentation and translation between English and Hungarian
• At least 3 years of experience in audio transcription and proficiency with transcription software
• Familiarity with legal terminology in both English and Hungarian
