Legislative Analyst, a temporary position supporting NOAA, involves providing Congressional liaison support, coordinating communications with NESDIS program offices, and monitoring legislation related to satellite programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Congressional liaison support and coordinate responses to inquiries for NESDIS
• Track and analyze appropriations and authorization legislation related to satellite programs
• Draft and prepare materials for Congressional hearings and budget releases

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in a relevant position
• Experience in legislative analysis and communications
• Knowledge of satellite programs and federal budget processes
• Ability to work in a hybrid/remote environment
