Lending Solutions Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the daily operations of the Lending Solutions function, the full-time remote Lending Solutions Specialist will assist associates with guideline interpretation, technology tools, and lending decision processes while fostering a coaching-based service model.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to lending solution requests from various stakeholders including loan originators and branch managers
• Assist associates in researching and interpreting loan program guidelines and internal lending processes
• Develop and maintain training materials and provide guidance on effective use of mortgage technology platforms

Required qualifications

• 2-3 years of mortgage industry experience, particularly in underwriting or loan structuring
• Current knowledge of mortgage loan programs and agency guidelines
• Familiarity with resources such as AllRegs and investor guides
• Ability to translate complex guidelines into practical guidance
• Strong judgment skills for managing escalations and identifying when higher-level review is needed
