Level 2 Linux-Unix Systems Administrator

Job Summary

Providing advanced Linux/Unix systems administration in a full-time remote capacity, the Level 2 NOC Systems Administrator will handle Level 1 escalations, perform deep troubleshooting, and ensure the reliability of Linux/Unix-based infrastructure in a 24/7 NOC environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administers Linux/Unix development, test, and production servers, including reloading, re-imaging, patching, and configuration
• Diagnoses and resolves complex Linux/Unix OS, service, and connectivity issues
• Performs daily monitoring of Linux/Unix systems and initiates proactive remediation

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix troubleshooting and server administration
• Ability to support 24/7 operations and rotating shifts
• U.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency required
• Possession of Windows credentials is a plus
