Level 2 NOC Systems Administrator

Job Summary

Providing essential systems administration support, the full-time Level 2 NOC Systems Administrator with a Linux/Unix focus will manage development, test, and production servers while troubleshooting systems and ensuring compliance with company standards in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administers and troubleshoots development, test, and production servers, including software installations and upgrades
• Monitors network systems proactively to ensure functionality, connectivity, and load balance
• Creates instructional guides and provides technical training to assist systems users

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems
• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting techniques
• Knowledge of software licensing and compliance standards
• Eligibility for required authorizations from the U.S. Government for access to export-controlled commodities and technology
