Level 2 RDS Agent

Job Summary

Seeking a Level 2 RDS Agent for a remote, part-time contract role, this position will manage automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting, requiring expertise in various vehicle systems and the ability to interpret technical service information.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive systems including engine management, safety systems, and braking systems
• Utilize OE or aftermarket scan tools to perform diagnostics and document service information
• Provide exceptional customer service while following established service and repair procedures

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive ADAS/diagnostic work experience or relevant automotive certification/training
• Proficiency with OE or aftermarket scan tools and understanding of vehicle diagnostic knowledge
• Experience working in a dealership or as a lead mechanic at an independent shop
• Strong computer literacy and procedural orientation
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle behavior and diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
