Job Summary

A company is looking for a lexicographer for its content team.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and revise definitions in dictionary and thesaurus entries
Research and write etymologies
Work with various teams to ensure accuracy and engagement in entries

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Linguistics or related field
Impeccable knowledge of English grammar and the International Phonetics Alphabet
Ability to adjust to in-house style guidelines
Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style
Previous lexicography experience is a plus
