Liability Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Handling third-party claims from inception to resolution, the full-time remote Liability Claims Adjuster will manage a caseload with urgency, conduct thorough investigations, and negotiate settlements while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage liability claims from first notice of loss (FNOL) to closure, ensuring accuracy and empathy
• Analyze coverage, draft clear coverage positions, and conduct investigations including interviews and document reviews
• Negotiate settlements and manage litigated matters, maintaining proactive communication with all stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• Liability adjusting experience handling general liability, bodily injury, and property damage claims
• Proven ability to manage claims end-to-end, including investigation, coverage analysis, and negotiation
• Strong writing skills and comfort in delivering difficult news respectfully
• Knowledge of claim regulations and Unfair Claims Practices
• Active adjusting license(s) as required, with the ability to obtain additional licenses if necessary
