Job Summary

Analyzing and processing claims for a dedicated client with capped caseloads, the full-time Liability Claims Adjuster - CA, FL, NY Licensed will adjudicate complex claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate effectively with clients and claimants in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Investigating and gathering information to determine claim exposure and develop action plans for timely resolution
• Negotiating settlements within designated authority and reporting claims to excess carriers
• Communicating claim activity and processing updates to both claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• 3 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
• Knowledge of jurisdictional requirements for CA, FL, and NY
• Licensing in the relevant states is required
