Liability Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Senior Claims Examiner - Liability, who will lead advanced investigations, review coverage and liability, set reserves, and collaborate with legal teams to manage complex claims from investigation to resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Interprets complex policy coverages and determines applicability to claims submitted
• Manages investigative activities and directs litigation strategies with legal counsel
• Establishes reserves and authorizes payments, ensuring timely and cost-effective claim settlements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 4-8 years of technical claims investigation and settlement experience
• Ability to work independently with various technical subjects
• Industry designations such as IIA, AIC, AEI, and/or CPCU preferred
• License requirements per state or jurisdictional mandates
