Liability Team Manager

Job Summary

Leading a remote team, the full-time salaried Liability Team Manager will oversee liability claims investigations, coach a high-performing team, and ensure operational excellence and compliance in claims management.

Key responsibilities

• Establishes performance standards, conducts appraisals, and administers corrective actions as needed
• Reviews and assigns claims to examiners, ensuring balanced workloads and timely closures
• Coaches staff on investigations and compliance standards, while preparing them for client and carrier claim reviews

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• Five or more years of experience as a Claim Examiner with the ability to handle complex cases
• Previous supervisory experience is desirable
• Thorough knowledge of insurance coverages and practices
• Industry designations preferred but not required (IIA, AIC, AEI, and/or CPCU)
