Liability Zone Leader

Job Summary

Leading a team of underwriters in a remote, full-time capacity, the Liability Zone Leader will manage profitable new and renewal business, negotiate terms for large clients, and develop strong relationships with brokers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee underwriting for large and critical accounts while managing a team to achieve regional and global targets
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions for significant clients and ensure adherence to underwriting governance
• Drive the development and execution of the regional underwriting strategy for Liability

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in underwriting Liability business with a deep understanding of sub-LoB products
• Proven ability to build long-term relationships with brokers and understand regional/local insurance markets
• Experience in analyzing complex data and assessing risk inherent exposures relevant to Liability
• Significant leadership experience in coaching and developing teams
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Insurance Management, or Business Administration
