Liability Zone Leader

Job Summary

Leading a team of underwriters, the full-time remote Liability Zone Leader will manage profitable new and renewal business, negotiate terms for large clients, and develop strong relationships with brokers and clients across the South region.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of underwriters to achieve regional and global Liability targets
• Negotiate participation, pricing, and terms for large accounts while managing complex underwriting processes
• Develop and execute the regional underwriting strategy and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in underwriting Liability business with a strong understanding of sub-LoB products
• Proven ability to build long-term relationships with brokers and understand local insurance markets
• Expertise in assessing risk exposures and natural hazards relevant to Liability insurance
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Insurance Management, or Business Administration
• Significant experience in leadership and team development, including coaching and mentoring
