Job Summary
Answering phone calls and live chat inquiries from library patrons across North America, the full-time Library Communications Specialist will provide information and support in a remote environment, focusing on customer satisfaction and team collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Handle phone-based patron inquiries efficiently and effectively
- Provide exceptional customer service while working in a team-oriented atmosphere
- Participate in mandatory training and adhere to scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends
Required qualifications
- At least 6 months of phone-based customer service experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Strong keyboarding and computer skills
- At least two years of post-high school education is highly desired
- Must have a reliable, high-speed internet connection
