Job Summary

Seeking a part-time Library Metadata Systems SME, this remote position will manage MARC/ONIX/FOLIO/ISSN domain work, supporting backlog interpretation, metadata mapping, and validation of changes impacting bibliographic workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Support backlog interpretation and metadata mapping for bibliographic records
• Review acceptance criteria and validate changes affecting MARC export and ONIX ingest
• Collaborate on cataloging workflows and integration with FOLIO or other ILS systems

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in library metadata, cataloging systems, or ILS
• Hands-on experience with MARC21 and ONIX
• Familiarity with ISBN and ISSN; ISNI preferred
• Experience with an ILS, preferably FOLIO or similar systems
• Understanding of cataloging, acquisitions, and serials workflows
