Licensed Admissions Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Admissions Counselor to lead the treatment team and coordinate member treatment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and clinical evaluations for program appropriateness
• Provide individual support, crisis intervention, and coordinate with Care Navigators
• Ensure compliance with member admission requirements and document care coordination needs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Behavioral health licensure or certification required
• Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a substance use disorder (SUD) setting
• High comfort level with technology, including EMR and mobile apps
• Minimum two years of experience completing intakes in a SUD setting
