Licensed Admissions Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Admissions Counselor to lead the treatment team and coordinate member treatment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct intake and clinical assessments to evaluate members for program appropriateness
• Provide individual support and crisis intervention while ensuring compliance with admission requirements
• Document member progress using EMR and collaborate with providers on treatment evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Behavioral health licensure or certification required
• Minimum two years of experience in a SUD setting, leading group therapy and completing intakes
• High comfort level with technology, including EMR and communication software
• Strong commitment to member success and ethical standards
