Licensed Admissions Counselor

Job Summary

Leading the treatment team, the full-time Licensed Admissions Counselor will conduct intake assessments, provide individual support, and manage compliance activities in a remote capacity while supporting needs in North and South Carolina.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments to evaluate individuals' appropriateness for the treatment program
• Provide individual support, including crisis intervention and referrals, while coordinating with Care Navigators
• Manage compliance activities associated with member admission requirements and documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Behavioral health licensure (LPC, LMHC, LMFT, LSW, LCSW) with willingness to obtain reciprocity in North and South Carolina
• Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a substance use disorder (SUD) setting
• High comfort level with technology, including EMR and mobile applications
• Minimum two years of experience completing intakes in a SUD setting
