Job Summary
Providing clinical support to Medical Directors, the full-time Licensed Advanced Practice Provider will oversee donor care at collection centers, ensure regulatory compliance, and support quality assurance activities.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee donor care and eligibility assessments, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory standards
- Manage medical and logistical issues during the collection process and address post-collection complications
- Provide medical input for regulatory submissions and ensure adherence to quality assurance standards
Required qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a Master's degree or higher in a relevant field
- Minimum of three years of experience in allogenic stem cell transplantation, blood banking, or apheresis
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, good tissue practices, and donor medical care
- Ability to provide medical leadership and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience interpreting clinical test results, including labs and EKGs
