Job Summary

A company is looking for an American Sign Language Interpreter.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between deaf and hearing individuals using American Sign Language
• Ensure accurate communication during meetings, events, and other interactions
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in interpreting practices

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and strong interpreting skills
• Knowledge of Deaf Culture and commitment to culturally competent communication
• Certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or equivalent preferred
• At least 2 years of professional interpreting experience is an advantage
• Familiarity with virtual interpreting tools and technologies for remote work
