Licensed Arbitrator

Job Summary

To support arbitration processes, the part-time 1099 Arbitrator will review evidence from both parties, apply relevant laws and regulations, and render payment determinations using a baseball style arbitration protocol remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review submitted evidence and apply applicable laws and regulations
• Render payment determinations on a neutral basis
• Manage caseload and track deadlines independently

Required qualifications

• Licensed attorney or licensed healthcare provider
• Experience as an arbitrator preferred
• Familiarity with the No Surprises Act (NSA) preferred
• Experience with medical coding or prior work for a healthcare company preferred
• Access to a computer and secure reliable internet
