Licensed Assistant General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel and advise on legal issues related to US 501(c)(3) and international non-profit organizations
• Draft, review, negotiate, and implement various legal instruments and maintain template infrastructure for agreements
• Assist in corporate governance and develop compliance and risk management strategies

Qualifications and Requirements

• Juris doctorate from an accredited law school
• A minimum of three years of legal practice experience, preferably in an international environment
• Experience in labor and employment law, supporting a human resources team is preferred
• Current license in good standing to practice law in the United States
• Experience with drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements
