Licensed Associate Counsel

Job Summary

Advising on a broad range of legal issues, the remote Licensed Associate Counsel will review, draft, and negotiate various contracts while collaborating with multi-functional teams on compliance and corporate matters.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts including employment agreements and vendor agreements
• Partner with internal teams to ensure legal compliance and develop company policies and procedures
• Provide guidance on employment-related issues and support merger and acquisition activities

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Member in good standing of at least one State Bar or the District of Columbia State Bar
• Experience in employment law and/or mergers and acquisitions
• Two or more years of related work experience
• Preferred experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts
