Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

Providing legal counsel to clinical research entities, the full-time Licensed Associate General Counsel will manage negotiations for clinical trial agreements, draft and review contracts, and advise on regulatory compliance in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provides legal advice to various clinical research departments and oversees compliance with health regulations
• Manages the negotiation process for clinical trial and related agreements
• Reviews grants and applications for legal issues while promoting understanding of obligations under those grants

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree
• Attorney licensed to practice law in any state in the United States
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in health care law, particularly in clinical research and IRB matters
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing clinical trial agreements and related legal documents
• Specialized knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to clinical research
