Licensed Athletic Trainer
Job Summary
To support a targeted member re-engagement initiative, the part-time Licensed Athletic Trainer will identify members with recurring musculoskeletal issues from claims data, conduct outreach to assess their needs, and facilitate their connection with Protera's clinical care team, all while working remotely with flexible hours.
Key responsibilities
- Review claims and EMR data to identify members needing re-engagement
- Conduct outbound outreach to assess members' current status and barriers to care
- Document outreach efforts and coordinate with the clinical team for member handoffs
Required qualifications
- Current Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer and applicable state licensure
- Experience in a physical therapy, rehabilitation, orthopedic, or musculoskeletal clinical setting
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to apply structured protocols
- Experience conducting patient outreach and navigating sensitive conversations
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
