Job Summary
Supporting ongoing litigation and advocacy initiatives, the full-time Licensed Attorney will conduct legal research, assist with case development, and collaborate with external partners while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct case factual and legal development, including outreach and legal research
- Assist with pleading and proving case claims, including document review and witness preparation
- Implement remedies and settlement agreements, tracking compliance and drafting related motions
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school
- Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience since law school graduation
- Member in good standing of the bar of at least one state
- A license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Understanding of children's rights and civil rights litigation
