Licensed Auto Liability Director

Job Summary

To provide claim services for a prestigious self-insured client, the full-time Auto Liability Complex Director will manage high severity litigated claims in a remote environment, formulating investigation plans and driving strategy with defense counsel.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate action-driven investigation plans for high severity claims, securing and documenting relevant information
• Drive strategy with defense counsel to develop litigation and disposition plans while evaluating coverage and pursuing recovery opportunities
• Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and trials as needed, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements and achieving excellent claim outcomes

Required qualifications

• JD and/or SCLA preferred
• 5+ years of experience in adjusting or litigating high severity auto liability claims
• Prior experience in Complex Liability Litigation with high severity Bodily Injury exposures
• Individual Independent State Adjuster licenses required, with the ability to obtain necessary licensing within 30 days of hire
• Advanced analytical reasoning skills with the ability to make autonomous decisions
