Licensed Behavioral Health Advocate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Advocate, Utilization Management - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform utilization management and authorization for outpatient services with providers, facilities, and members
• Ensure behavioral health care services are medically necessary and provided in the most appropriate setting
• Manage discharge planning and transitions between care settings to ensure quality outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a master's degree professional in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field, or as a licensed PhD/PsyD, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse
• 3+ years of post-licensure clinical experience in a related behavioral health environment
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Access to secure, high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace at home
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
