Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Licensed Behavioral Health Advocate will conduct telephonic clinical reviews with providers to ensure members receive effective outpatient behavioral health care, focusing on commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare services.

Key responsibilities:
  • Conduct outpatient reviews to determine appropriate care and assess if member treatment meets coverage guidelines
  • Shape member treatment in partnership with providers to promote best practices in outpatient psychotherapy and community-based treatment
  • Administer benefits and review treatment plans to ensure compliance with guidelines
Required qualifications:
  • Active, unrestricted Independent Level Clinician licensure in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Counseling with 2+ years of behavioral health experience
  • Active, unrestricted independent licensure in the state of residence
  • 2+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting with outpatient psychotherapy and community-based treatment experience
  • Proven proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
  • Access to a distraction-free home office space and high-speed internet
