Job Summary
Working remotely full-time, the Licensed Behavioral Health Advocate will conduct telephonic clinical reviews with providers to ensure members receive effective outpatient behavioral health services while promoting best practices in treatment.
Key responsibilities
- Focus on outpatient commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare behavioral health services
- Conduct outpatient reviews to determine appropriate care and assess coverage guidelines
- Shape member treatment in partnership with providers and administer benefits while reviewing treatment plans
Required qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Independent Level Clinician licensure in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Counseling with 2+ years of experience in behavioral health
- Active, unrestricted independent licensure in the state of residence
- 2+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting, particularly in outpatient psychotherapy and community-based treatment
- Proven proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
- Access to a distraction-free home office space and high-speed internet
