Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Review Clinician - Behavioral Health.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate treatment for mental health and substance abuse to ensure medical appropriateness
• Conduct prior authorization and concurrent reviews related to behavioral health services
• Analyze member data to improve service quality and engage with providers and leadership

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of related experience
• Master's degree for behavioral health clinicians required
• State licensure as a clinical social worker, mental health counselor, professional counselor, or equivalent required
• Preferred clinical knowledge of mental health and substance abuse treatment plans
• Experience with utilization review processes and working with healthcare teams preferred
