Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Review Clinician - Behavioral Health.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate member's treatment for mental health and substance abuse to ensure medical appropriateness
• Perform prior authorization reviews and concurrent reviews related to behavioral health services
• Analyze behavioral health member data to improve service quality and utilization

Required Qualifications

• License to practice independently (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or RN) is required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school or bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of related experience
• Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field is preferred
• Direct experience with Utilization Review or Management in Behavioral Health is preferred
• Experience working with healthcare teams on mental health and substance abuse cases is preferred
