Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician

Job Summary

Delivering behavioral health utilization management, the full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician will conduct clinical reviews, coordinate care, and partner with providers and internal teams remotely to ensure appropriate treatment and positive member outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical reviews and apply medical necessity criteria to treatment decisions
• Collaborate with members, families, and providers to coordinate care and support discharge planning
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to health plan requirements and regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• Current, unrestricted license as a clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, professional counselor, clinical psychologist, or registered nurse
• Minimum of two years of direct clinical care experience in psychiatric or chemical dependency treatment
• Ability to comprehend medical policy and articulate health information clearly
• Strong computer and keyboarding skills for documentation while communicating
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check upon hire and throughout employment
