Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician

Job Summary

To support mental health and substance abuse services, the full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician will perform clinical reviews, assess care appropriateness, and engage with healthcare providers in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate treatment for mental health and substance abuse to ensure medical appropriateness before, during, and after services
• Conduct prior authorization and concurrent reviews of behavioral health inpatient care
• Analyze member data to enhance service quality and utilization while providing education to providers and families

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field required
• License to practice independently as an LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, LMHP, or RN required
• 2-4 years of related experience in mental health and substance abuse
• Clinical knowledge of treatment plan assessment for mental health and substance abuse preferred
• Experience collaborating with healthcare teams on care reviews preferred
