Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician will perform clinical reviews and assessments related to mental health and substance abuse, ensuring the appropriateness of care and services for members.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate treatment for mental health and substance abuse to ensure medical appropriateness
• Perform prior authorization and concurrent reviews for behavioral health services
• Engage with healthcare providers and leadership to enhance the quality and efficiency of care

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field required
• License as an LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, LMHP, or RN required
• 2-4 years of related experience in behavioral health preferred
• Clinical knowledge of mental health and substance abuse treatment plans preferred
• Experience with utilization review processes in behavioral health preferred
