Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician
Job Summary
Providing behavioral healthcare and clinical support services, the full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician will work remotely to support Special Operations Forces personnel and their families, addressing the unique challenges of military life and collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct individual, family, group, and couples therapy, as well as alcohol and drug treatment evaluations
- Collaborate with medical personnel, legal authorities, and military commanders to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Participate in applied research and quality improvement activities to enhance behavioral health services within the Special Operations community
Required qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Counseling with applicable clinical licensure
- Current LCSW or LMSW with a valid license in the state of practice
- Minimum of two years of related experience in a mental health setting
- Experience in brief behavioral interventions and peer-reviewable clinical work
- Ability to meet credentialing and privileging standards as per Defense Health Agency guidelines
