Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician
Job Summary
To support mental health and substance abuse care, the full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician will perform clinical reviews, assess care appropriateness, and conduct prior authorization reviews while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluates treatment for mental health and substance abuse to ensure medical appropriateness
- Conducts prior authorization and concurrent reviews related to behavioral health services
- Analyzes member data to enhance service quality and utilization
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field for behavioral health clinicians
- State licensure as LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, LMHP, or RN required
- 2-4 years of experience in behavioral health or substance abuse and utilization management
- Clinical knowledge of treatment plans related to mental health and substance abuse preferred
- Experience working with healthcare teams to review care services preferred
