Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician
Job Summary
Working remotely from the Central Time Zone, the full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician will perform clinical reviews and assessments related to mental health and substance abuse, ensuring the appropriateness of care and services while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluates treatment for mental health and substance abuse to ensure medical appropriateness before, during, and after services
- Conducts prior authorization reviews and concurrent reviews for behavioral health inpatient services
- Analyzes member data to enhance the quality and utilization of behavioral health services
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field required
- License to practice independently as an LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, LMHP, or RN required
- 2-4 years of related experience in behavioral health preferred
- Clinical knowledge of treatment plans for mental health and substance abuse preferred
- Experience working with healthcare providers in the behavioral health field preferred
