Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician will perform clinical reviews and assessments of care related to mental health and substance abuse, ensuring services are medically appropriate while working second shift hours from 2pm to 10pm EST.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluates treatment for mental health and substance abuse to ensure medical appropriateness
- Performs prior authorization and concurrent reviews related to behavioral health services
- Provides education to providers and families regarding the behavioral health utilization process
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field required
- License to practice independently as an LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, LMHP, or RN required
- 2-4 years of related experience in behavioral health
- Clinical knowledge of treatment plans related to mental health and substance abuse preferred
- Experience working with healthcare teams to review care services preferred
