Licensed Behavioral Health Manager

Job Summary

To ensure appropriate care for members, the full-time remote Licensed Behavioral Health Manager will oversee utilization review clinicians, manage operational activities, and collaborate with senior leadership on behavioral health utilization management issues.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee behavioral health utilization review clinicians and ensure compliance with guidelines
• Review and analyze utilization management activities to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective utilization of healthcare services

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of related experience, including management experience
• Active clinical license (LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, LMHP, or RN) required
• 3+ years of management experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of utilization management principles preferred
• Advanced understanding of medical necessity criteria for behavioral health services preferred
