Licensed Behavioral Health Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Physician Reviewer (Medical Director).

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage medical expertise to review service requests and make evidence-based determinations
• Conduct peer-to-peer discussions with external providers to gather clinical information
• Ensure compliance with national guidelines and support internal workflows

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with current board certification in Psychiatry
• Additional board certification in Child & Adolescent or Addiction Medicine is highly preferred
• 5 years of recent direct patient care experience
• Strong computer literacy and adeptness with technology
• Must reside and work within the United States
