Licensed Behavioral Health Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director, Behavioral Health.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and implements cost of care initiatives and clinical quality improvement initiatives
• Conducts psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supports care team in member care plans
• Facilitates behavioral health referrals and collaborates with care teams for member stabilization

Required Qualifications

• Medical degree with at least 2 years post-residency experience
• Clinical leadership experience preferred
• Experience in developing and implementing behavioral health programs
• Knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment planning
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed for clinical or business needs
