Licensed Behavioral Health Medical Director

Job Summary

Serving as a key leader in a remote full-time capacity, the Licensed Behavioral Health Medical Director will design and implement a Serious Mental Illness (SMI) care model while also providing direct psychiatric care to high-acuity geriatric members, balancing leadership responsibilities with clinical practice.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and execute a longitudinal Serious Mental Illness (SMI) care model focused on value-based care and integrated workflows
• Provide direct psychiatric care and serve as the primary prescriber for complex geriatric members, ensuring effective clinical management
• Collaborate with clinical operations to optimize the proprietary EMR system, integrating AI tools to enhance clinician workflows

Required qualifications:

• Active Board Certification in Adult Psychiatry
• 2-3 years of clinical experience managing high-acuity SMI or complex geriatric populations
• Experience in designing or working within Collaborative Care (CoCM) models
• Comfortable with telehealth models and data-driven clinical registries
• Willingness to obtain multiple state licenses as the practice scales nationally
