Licensed Behavioral Health Supervisor

Job Summary

Supervising a team of behavioral health utilization review clinicians, the full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Supervisor will ensure compliance with care guidelines, address complex member issues, and implement process improvements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversees the daily activities of the behavioral health utilization management team to ensure appropriate care for members
• Monitors compliance with guidelines and tracks performance, quality, and efficiency standards
• Educates the team on key initiatives and facilitates communication between members, providers, and management

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of related experience
• License to practice independently as an LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, LMHP, or RN required
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of behavioral health utilization management principles preferred
• Understanding of medical necessity criteria for a broad range of behavioral health services preferred
